The short films from Visioni Sarde will open the first edition of the Officina Film Festival in Decimomannu.

A selection of nine works, chosen from over two hundred submissions, each portraying Sardinia in its own way—from the everyday life of a condominium to a dystopia of an island selling itself. Some through direct imagery, others through metaphors, all offer moments of reflection on contemporary society and the conflicting emotions that animate it.

Visioni Sarde was founded in 2014 as part of the historic Visioni Italiane festival at the Cineteca di Bologna, aiming to promote young Sardinian directors both in Italy and abroad. Over the years, the festival has gained attention from audiences, industry professionals, and critics for the quality of the selected works and its focus on new trends in Sardinian cinema.
