Rose Aste delivers a powerful performance as Anna, a spirited young woman who refuses to stand by and watch the land that nurtured her with love be destroyed. Years later, that same land welcomes her back, offering healing for the wounds inflicted by a society blinded by appearances, obsessed with profit at all costs, and steeped in machismo. Anna chooses to fight with no compromises, even at the risk of losing everything. She will pay the price for her choices, no doubt, but always with her head held high.
